This month we’re focusing on love! These prompts will help you explore your relationship with the concept as it applies to all areas of your life.

Love for Yourself

  1. What does self-love actually mean to you, beyond the typical ideas of bubble baths and affirmations? How do you know when you’re truly loving yourself?
  2. In what ways do you self-abandon? What would it look like if you showed up for yourself fully, without conditions?
  3. Think about a time when you felt deeply proud of yourself. What qualities did you embody in that moment? How can you bring more of that energy into your life now?
  4. How do you speak to yourself internally? Would you speak to someone you deeply love in the same way? How can you shift your inner dialogue to be more loving?
  5. If you had to write a love letter to your body, what would it say? Be honest and acknowledge the struggles but also express gratitude for all it does for you.
  6. What limiting beliefs about love (self-love, love from others, love from the world) have you been carrying? Where do they come from, and are they still serving you?
  7. Imagine your ideal future self, five years from now. How does this version of you practice self-love in everyday life?

Love for Others & Relationships

  1. Who in your life has taught you the most about love? What did they show you – both positively and negatively?
  2. How do you feel about receiving love? Do you accept it easily, or do you deflect it? What do you think causes your response?
  3. Think about the way you show love to others. Is it the same way you like to receive love? How can you bridge any gaps in communication?
  4. Reflect on a time when someone loved you unconditionally. What did that experience teach you about love?
  5. Are there any relationships in your life where you are holding onto resentment? What would need to happen for you to release it (even if you never get an apology)?
  6. How do you handle conflict in relationships? Does your approach reflect love, or does it come from a place of fear or self-protection?
  7. If you could design your ideal community – one where love, support, and connection were abundant – what would it look like?

Love for the World & the Environment

  1. How do you express love for the world around you? In what ways do you take care of the earth and your surroundings?
  2. If nature had a voice and could tell you how it feels about humanity’s relationship with it, what do you think it would say?
  3. When was the last time you felt truly connected to something bigger than yourself? Describe the experience in detail.
  4. What small, everyday choices do you make that reflect love for the planet? Where could you improve without adding stress to your life?
  5. How does your relationship with material possessions reflect your values? Do you feel like you “consume” in a way that aligns with love?
  6. If you could design a day focused entirely on reconnecting with the world around you, what would you do?
  7. How does your environment (home, work, nature, community) impact your ability to feel love and peace? What changes could make your surroundings more aligned with love?

Love in Unexpected Areas of Life

  1. How does love show up in your relationship with food? Do you nourish yourself with love, or do guilt and rules take over?
  2. What movement or physical activity makes you feel the most alive? How can you make exercise a celebration of what your body can do rather than a punishment?
  3. If money were a person, what kind of relationship would you have with it? Would it feel loving, or is it more stressful and avoidant?
  4. Think about your career or life’s work. Does it align with love – love for yourself, love for others, love for your passions? If not, what needs to shift?
  5. What is something you deeply love doing that you haven’t prioritized lately? How can you bring it back into your life in a meaningful way?
  6. How do you show love to your future self? What habits, boundaries, or choices do you make that will benefit you down the road?
  7. Write about a moment – big or small – where love completely transformed a situation for you. What did you learn from that experience?
