By Getting to Know Yourself

The first full month of spring brings new life to the world. With the warming weather, you might feel inspired to grow into a new version of yourself as well. The starting point that I always recommend is getting to know yourself and where you currently are. Take time to write about these, don’t rush it, and do them in whatever order feels right to you!

1. Reflect on the progress you’ve made towards your health goals since the beginning of the year. What adjustments can you make to stay on track?

2. How do you define “wellness”? What areas of your life contribute to your overall well-being?

3. Describe a recent challenge you faced. How did you overcome it, and what did you learn from the experience?

4. Write about a habit you want to cultivate this month to enhance your physical, mental, or emotional health.

5. What role does self-care play in your life? How can you prioritize it more effectively?

6. Explore a limiting belief you hold about yourself. How can you reframe it to support your growth?

7. Describe a recent moment of gratitude or appreciation. How did it impact your mood and outlook?

8. Reflect on a time when you felt truly connected to your spirituality or a higher power. What practices help you cultivate that connection?

9. Write about a fear or insecurity that is holding you back from reaching your full potential. How can you overcome it?

10. What does forgiveness mean to you? Are there any relationships or situations where you need to practice forgiveness?

11. Describe a recent experience that brought you joy or fulfillment. How can you invite more of those moments into your life?

12. Explore the concept of balance in your life. What areas feel out of balance, and what steps can you take to restore harmony?

13. Write about a lesson you learned from a difficult experience in your past. How has it shaped who you are today?

14. Reflect on your relationship with food and nutrition. Are there any changes you want to make to improve your eating habits?

15. Describe a recent act of kindness you received or witnessed. How did it impact you and those involved?

16. Write about a goal or aspiration you have for your career or personal development. What steps can you take to move closer to achieving it?

17. Explore the connection between movement and mood. How does physical activity influence your mental and emotional well-being?

18. Reflect on a time when you felt deeply connected to nature. How can you incorporate more outdoor time into your routine?

19. Describe a boundary you need to set in order to protect your energy and well-being. How will you communicate this boundary to others?
